IRONMAN has announced Athletic Brewing Company as the Official Non-Alcoholic Beer Provider of the IRONMAN Global Series.
The company will also serve as the title partner of Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid on July 23, 2023, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series.
“Athletic Brewing has been a great partner of IRONMAN and we’re excited to bring them on board to serve as the title partner for one of the longest-standing and popular IRONMAN events in North America,” said Dave Christen, Senior Regional Director for The IRONMAN Group.
“We are thrilled to continue this partnership and believe there is no better race location than Lake Placid, with 23 years of racing history, to compliment Athletic Brewing’s non-alcoholic beers.”

Details related to the 2023 IRONMAN Lake Placid course are still being finalized. IRONMAN has confirmed that the swim will take place in Mirror Lake. Once out of the water, athletes will transition over to the 112-mile bike portion. The two-loop bike course will traverse through the surrounding hills of the Adirondacks.
Athletes will be challenged with the 11-mile climb up the ‘notch’ from Wilmington back to the transition area at Northwood School. The run will feature a two-loop course that travels through the city centre.
Lake Placid played host to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic games, providing athletes with views of the Olympic ski jumps before heading down scenic River Road and ending on Main Street for the finish line.
The 2023 Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, offers qualifying slots to the 2023 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship taking place in Kailua-Kona Hawai`i.
