Athletic Greens’ AG1 becomes global IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 series ‘official foundational nutrition supplement’

IRONMAN and AG1, the daily nutrition supplement from Athletic Greens, have announced a new, multi-year partnership. The new tie-up makes AG1 the ‘official foundational nutrition supplement’ of the global IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 Series.

“We are thrilled to bring AG1 to our global community,” said Matt Wikstrom, Chief Partnerships Officer for The IRONMAN Group. “This partnership provides our athletes access to foundational nutrition support and education, and supports their health each day as they train and prepare for race day.”

AG1 is positioned as a daily foundational nutrition supplement that supports whole body health…

‘Developed in 2010 by a team of doctors, scientists, and researchers, it’s a simple and effective way to bolster a healthy diet and support your brain, gut, and immune system with vitamins, whole food-sourced nutrients, and pre and probiotics. The supplement, which is known for its rigorous quality and safety standards, is NSF Certified for Sport and widely relied on by professional athletes, trainers, and coaches for performance support through nutrition.’

“Our mission has always been to empower people to take ownership of their health,” said Jon Corne, Chief Marketing Officer of Athletic Greens.

“What makes AG1 special is our ability to support that journey whether someone is an elite IRONMAN athlete, whether they’ve worked for a year to get to their first start line, or whether they’re cheering from the side-lines. The through line is the sum of daily choices and a commitment to health in pursuit of progress.”

Beginning at this past weekend’s VinFast IRONMAN World Championship event in Nice, France, AG1 will have an ongoing presence at IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events worldwide.

AG1 kicked off its partnership with a pre-race panel on Friday, September 8, featuring professional athletes Gustav Iden (NOR), Sebastian Kienle (DEU), and Braden Currie (NZL). They discussed their personal nutrition and training routines, as well as how they balance competition with the other foundational pillars of health, including sleep, mindfulness, and relationships.
