The 2023 British Triathlon Awards, part of the national governing body’s 40th anniversary celebrations, take place on Friday 17 November. The event will see a number of awards handed out, with the categories now announced.
2023 British Triathlon Awards include:
Female Olympic Programme Athlete of the Year
Male Olympic Programme Athlete of the Year
Female Paralympic Programme Athlete of the Year
Male Paralympic Programme Athlete of the Year
Female Long Distance Athlete of the Year
Male Long Distance Athlete of the Year
Female Age-Group Athlete of the Year
Male Age-Group Athlete of the Year
Outstanding Contribution
Moment of the Year
Sponsorship opportunities for each award are available and start from £3,000 plus VAT. Each sponsor will receive a Gold Table reserved for 10 guests, welcome drinks and three course meal, as well as the opportunity to hand out their respective award on the evening.
There are also two special awards that will be handed out on the evening that are not available for sponsorship. These are the Sarah Springman Award for Environmental Sustainability in Triathlon and the Joe Garner Award for Diversity & Inclusion in Triathlon.
The awards will be voted on by a panel of experts, with the winners being presented with their awards at the celebration event in November.
