HYROX footprint increases with gym tie-ups

As the HYROX season gets into full swing, ‘the global sport of fitness racing’ has tied up with a number of gyms in its target markets. One such gym is KXU, a boutique wellness and fitness destination in Chelsea, London, UK, which has unveiled new HYROX classes in February.

To celebrate becoming an official HYROX Partner Gym in 2024, KXU classes get under way from Wednesday, February 28th.

As an official HYROX Partner Gym, gym-goes can train for HYROX events at KXU. The classes are designed to help athletes improve their performance in a HYROX event, or simply help to improve overall fitness.

From February 28th, specific classes will be run by instructors who have completed HYROX events themselves. Starting on Wednesday at 17:00 GMT, Thursdays at 19:00 and Sunday at 09:30, the classes are divided into two components – running and strength stations, to mimic a HYROX event.

Each class focuses on four out of the eight HYROX stations, alternating between the remaining four stations each session. Stations include wall balls, SkiErg, burpee broad jumps, sled push and pull, to name a few. All abilities are welcome to give their all in this mixed modality class.

Following the class, gymgoers can relax in KXU’s Medi-spa, which offers a range of treatments, as well as a cryotherapy chamber and body rehab, alongside physiotherapy and lymphatic pressotherapy.
