Mavic USA further develops in North America

Mavic, the French manufacturer of bicycle wheels and equipment, has continued to develop sales and support in North America, adding reps and scheduling events.

While the Mavic Service Center is up and running out of Waterbury, Vermont, and many of the new wheelsets are currently available, the company is working to add more products from its collection that are relevant and crafted for the US rider.

In addition, the company is continuing a steady rollout of reps to manage the growth of new Mavic retailers across the country. Reps have been added to California, Nevada, Pacific Northwest, Mountain States, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, New England, and Florida.

North American Sales & Marketing Manager Josh Saxe said “We are very pleased to have some experienced and professional sales staff joining our team and we are continuing to work to add quality reps who are passionate about the brand.”

Mavic is also looking forward to several events this year, kicking off at Sea Otter Classic in California. Several Mavic athletes will compete at Sea Otter events and Mavic will have its latest products on display.

Josh Saxe added, “We are excited to be working with a wide array of riders across all disciplines and categories. Riders from our own backyard to a much larger national scene, but all involved at a grassroots level in their community.

“Butcherbox Cycling will be taking on the US criterium and road scene, representing the proud road heritage of the company. While riders like Meg Fisher, Mirna Velaro, Ariel Kent, and Ellen Noble will be tackling new frontiers of gravel, and XC, enduro, and downhill.”

Established in 1889, Mavic is a manufacturer of wheels and cycling equipment made in Europe. It is a specialist in tubeless technology. Based in France, Mavic has offices, retail stores, and an international roster of sponsored athletes, located around the world.
