Open ear headphones specialist Shokz, has confirmed the launch of OpenFit Air, its newest generation wireless open-ear headphones, and OpenSwim Pro, the brand’s first Bluetooth and MP3 compatible sports headphone made with bone-conduction technology.
OpenFit Air
Priced at £119 in the UK, and positioned for being ultra-lightweight and offering a secure fit, OpenFit Air, features Shokz’s open-ear design including an ergonomic ear hook for comfort.
Weighing a lightweight 8.7g, the headphones are engineered with a soft silicone finish that provides a pliable fit for varying ear shapes and all-day use. Featuring an ultra-fine 0.75mm flexible Ni-Ti memory alloy, the Air-Earhook design keeps headphones securely in place, minimising pressure during long listening sessions.
A cavity design and teardrop-shaped cross-section allows the headphones to fit deeper in the ear for a comfortable and snug fit.
Powered by DirectPitch technology, OpenFit Air offers a full and natural audio experience. With Shokz OpenBass Air and a proprietary low-frequency enhancement algorithm, OpenFit Air can offer deep bass and detailed richness.
Boasting six hours on a single charge and a total of 28 hours with its charging case, for those short on time, a quick 10-minute charge will serve up an extra two hours of listening time.

OpenSwim Pro
OpenSwim Pro the Shokz brand’s first Bluetooth and MP3 compatible sports headphone made with bone-conduction technology.
OpenSwim Pro has an open ear design and ultra-lightweight frame. The headphones allow users to maintain situational awareness, while listening to their favourite music in any environment, whether that’s swimming, running, or cycling.
The OpenSwim Pro headphones have a flexible Nickel-Titanium alloy frame, combining a soft silicone material and a design that does not obstruct other garments such as a swimming cap or goggles. With a simple press of a button, or via the Shokz app, users can switch modes between Bluetooth streaming and MP3 listening.

Priced at £169, and designed with Shokz’s PremiumPitchTM 2.0+ technology, the headphones produce clear sound, powerful volume, and a rich bass. There are two EQ modes – a standard mode and vocal mode.
OpenSwim Pro also works for phone calls, designed with four in-built microphones, and is enabled with echo cancellation. It has 32GB of MP3 memory, allowing users to store up to 8,000 of their favourite songs.
OpenSwim Pro has an IP68 rating, allowing users to use their headphones for up to two hours submerged in two meters of water. Users can also expect up to nine hours of battery life, combined with quick charging. It transitions between devices, thanks to its multipoint pairing and the use of Bluetooth v5.4 providing a quick and stable connection.
