Classified, the Belgium-based drivetrain brand, has strengthened its team with the appointment of James Vickers as Head of Marketing & Communications.
With a career spanning almost 20 years, Vickers offers experience in strategic marketing, brand development, and communications.
Prior to joining Classified, Vickers held key roles at several high-profile companies such as Muuvr, Wahoo Fitness and Wattbike, where he implemented global marketing strategies and increased brand presence. Classified notes that his expertise in the cycling industry and passion for innovation make him a valuable addition to the team.

In his new role, Vickers will oversee all marketing and communication efforts, enhancing Classified’s brand visibility and fostering deeper connections with the cycling community. He will play a role in expanding the reach and understanding of Classified’s Powershift Technology.

Founded in 2019 and employing 50 people, Classified is a Belgian cycling tech company that has developed drivetrain and shifting technologies. The company has offices in Antwerp and Eindhoven. The company’s investors include prominent cycling champions Tom Boonen, Marcel Kittel, Anna Van der Breggen, André Greipel, and Philippe Gilbert.
