With the 2024 edition of Tour de France fully underway, Groupama-FDJ Team Manager Marc Madiot is inviting cycling fans to join him in the team car to follow the tour live as part of the team’s ongoing collaboration with online marketplace Catawiki.
The collaboration in a new online auction comes as Catawiki reveals a 160% surge in sales of cycling memorabilia on its marketplace this year. Catawiki was founded in 2008 as a community for collectors and has evolved into an online auction platform for buying and selling collectibles.
Running until July 7, highlights of the cycling related auction also include: a dinner with Madiot and the supporting Groupama-FDJ team on July 16, 2024, between stages 16 and 17; jerseys worn and signed by Lorenzo Germani, Laurence Pithie and Lewis Askey on the Giro d’Italia; and the torn suit of Enzo Paleni, following his recent crash during that race.
The online auction on Catawiki runs until 20:00 CST on July 7, 2024.

In the run up to this year’s race, Catawiki saw searches for ‘Tour de France’ grow by a quarter. Former pro-cyclist and Sports Memorabilia Expert at Catawiki, Ana Maria Covrig, said “The most exciting event in cycling is finally here and we’re seeing more and more cycling enthusiasts come to Catawiki to explore cycling memorabilia.
