According to a release from Canadian bike brand Norco, in conjunction with SmartEtailing, the company has launched Norco Sync, ‘a game-changing technology that links Norco’s Vancouver and Toronto warehouses with the Canadian Independent Bicycle Dealer (IBD) network and ultimately with the end consumer.’
Norco Sync enables Norco’s entire inventory to be accessible to the consumer at the click of a mouse.
According to Norco, with the online shopping environment pressuring Canadian IBDs, the company is dedicated to strengthening its established dealer network. Norco Sync is the first service of its kind in the Canadian marketplace and is a valuable asset for Norco retailers to take advantage of online sales. Offering real-time inventory management, the system allows the IBD to link Norco’s warehouses with physical inventory, and rapidly determine product availability.
Through Norco’s partnership with SmartEtailing, participating Canadian IBDs are able to provide a virtual inventory for customers, enabling a competitive edge. Norco Sync combines the intimacy and service of the IBD with the cost-effectiveness and economies of scale found in the digital marketplace.
