TriDot and Zwift have announced completion of Zwift’s first Zwift Link integration. This creates a more seamless training experience between the two platforms.
With the Zwift Link in place, TriDot athletes can export bike and run workouts to Zwift for execution in Zwift’s immersive worlds. Additionally, TriDot athlete training data will flow automatically from Zwift to TriDot.
Zwift Links is a Training Connections API (Application Programming Interface) from Zwift. As an API, Zwift Link gives Zwifters greater flexibility with how they want to train on the platform by providing integration with training and coaching platforms such as TriDot.
TriDot was selected as the first integration partner to utilize this new API… ‘due to its popularity and growing adoption among triathletes.’
“We’re excited to support athletes completing TriDot workouts in Zwift utilizing our new training API, Zwift Link,” said Mark Cote, VP Product at Zwift.
“TriDot has been a tremendous partner as we’ve developed the new tools. We know this connection will help motivate and support more athletes in achieving their training goals.”
TriDot’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) training platform is used by both coaches and athletes. The company adds that it is powered by an AI engine that harnesses data to optimize results for each individual athlete.
‘The service leverages two decades of ongoing research, and TriDot’s patents-pending technology which considers athlete biometrics, training data, and coach inputs along with its own proprietary dataset, artificial intelligence, and other advanced analytics.’
TriDot is the Official Training Platform of IRONMAN and operates IRONMAN U, a global coach community featuring former pro athletes such as Mark Allen, Tim O’Donnell, Mirinda ‘Rinny’ Carfrae, Michellie Jones, and Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander.
“We’re excited to be the first to partner with Zwift to implement Zwift Link for the convenience of our athletes, and those on Zwift,” said Jeff Booher, Founder & CEO of Predictive Fitness, the developer of TriDot.
“This integration adds to our extensive portfolio of integrated partners and makes it that much easier for our athletes to benefit from the fun and engaging Zwift platform while they tackle their personalized training.”
