Rudy Project’s latest sunglasses product offering is Turbolence, which is billed as… ‘the outdoor sports eyewear that offers uncompromising protection and an unparalleled visual experience.’
The company points out that, at the heart of Turbolence is a latest-generation spherical lens. This is designed to optimise aerodynamics and offer full protection from the elements. Rudy Project adds that this lens is able to guarantee a wider field of vision and a sharper perception of detail.
‘Turbolence can be used in various sports disciplines, from athletics to cycling, to beach volleyball, water sports and mountain sports. Its wraparound shape offers optimal protection from UV rays, while the curvature minimises optical distortion.’
Completing the features of Turbolence is a sweatband positioned for resting against the forehead as well as an adjustable cord. Lightweight (only 29g), Turbolence features an adjustable nosepiece and soft temples that adapt perfectly to a face’s shape.
Turbolence is available now in eight different colour variants with polarised, photochromic or mirrored lenses, starting at £144. It can be ordered with optical correction sport lenses.
