126 days after an accident that caused him multiple fractures, and after a long recovery, elite cyclist Remco Evenepoel will share a training session with fans on virtual cycling platform BKOOL before returning to competition.
The event will take place on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 18:00 CEST with fans able to participate for free via 7-day trial available at bkool.com.
To share training with the reigning World Time Trial champion, participants will need a bike trainer or smart bike and can join worldwide using a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Evenepoel will complete a stage on BKOOL’s indoor cycling platform, while chatting with fans on social media. Through Instagram Live, the Belgian rider will talk about his injury, his current form and his goals for the season, among other topics.
It will be his first public appearance after his injury, as he finalises his preparations for his participation in the Tour of Romandie.
Ángel Luis Fernández, BKOOL’s Marketing Director, said ‘We were all looking forward to seeing Remco in action again, enjoying cycling.
“That’s why we have organised this virtual meeting, where we hope to have a whole bunch of fans from all over the world riding with him. It’s his big comeback from injury and the fact that it’s at BKOOL is a privilege.”
