Mavic has signed a new five-year agreement with Warner Bros Discovery Sports Europe to become the Official Bicycle Shoe Supplier of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
The French cycling brand will also serve as an Official Partner for the UCI World Cup round in Les Gets, Haute-Savoie, France.
Founded in Lyon and now based in Annecy, Mavic has over 135 years of experience in the cycling industry. Known for its yellow-and-black branding, the company is widely recognised for its wheelsets and technical gear.
In a release, Mavic said the new partnership reflects a continued commitment to mountain biking and the international riding community. The 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series began on on April 3-6, 2025 in Araxá, Brazil. The second round continued in Araxá this past weekend with the UCI Cross-country Short Track World Cup on April 11, followed by the UCI Cross-country Olympic World Cup on April 12.
Coverage of the series is available via WBD’s platforms including Eurosport, TNT Sports, Max and discovery+, with international broadcast distribution via partner channels.
