The 200-mile Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano will be broadcast live and free for the first time on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Organised by Life Time, the event is the second race in the Life Time Grand Prix series and takes place in Emporia, Kansas. The nearly seven-hour show will stream on the Life Time Grand Prix YouTube channel, starting at 10:00 CT with a pre-show, before full coverage of the elite men’s and women’s races.
The commentary team includes Life Time Grand Prix athlete Payson McElveen, currently sidelined through injury, alongside former pro Meredith Miller and cycling announcer Bill Elliston. Out on course, Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Nat Ross and former pro Lauren Hall will provide live updates.
Extended highlights will be uploaded to the YouTube channel in the days following the event.

Top contenders Keegan Swenson and Sofía Gómez Villafañe return after strong performances at the series-opening Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel. Rosa Klöser will defend her 2024 title, while Grand Tour stage winner Thomas De Gendt lines up in the men’s race for the first time.
Last year’s men’s winner, Lachlan Morton, will compete in the XL category, opening the door for a new UNBOUND men’s champion in 2025.
The race also hosts the final round of the Wild Card competition – an initiative offering new riders a path into the Life Time Grand Prix standings. Three women’s and four men’s wildcard spots are now available, following the withdrawal of Howard Grotts as he continues recovery from a crash in 2024.
The Wild Card selection and an U23 Development Program are two new initiatives that aim to give fans more competition, action and drama to follow during the 2025 season.
