Alé Cycling and eVent Fabrics have announced a partnership that makes Alé the first cycling apparel brand to use eVent’s new PFAS-free stormburstLT fabric.
The stormburstLT laminate is lightweight, breathable, and water repellent. It is designed for high-output activities, allowing heat and moisture to escape.
According to the companies, the partnership with Alé represents the first time this high-performance laminate will be available to cyclists. The fabric is used in two new Alé jackets: the FAN and the TRACCIA.
The FAN jacket, available for men and women for €215, is designed for winter use with a temperature range of -3 to 6°C. It combines the eVent three-layer laminate with a breathable, quick-drying fleece liner.
The TRACCIA jacket for men, priced at €195, is a lighter version for warmer temperatures (0 to 12°C), making it suitable for autumn/fall and spring riding.
Both jackets feature raw-cut cuffs, a rear hem for grip, and reflective branding for visibility.
