Santini Cycling and Danish professional cyclist Mads Pedersen have announced an exclusive collaboration to develop a new technical apparel collection.
According to Santini, the new partnership is rooted in the aerodynamic research behind the Bergamo-based company’s MADSS (Mega Aerodynamic Speed Shell) line, which was originally launched in the 2025 season.
Mads Pedersen, the 2019 World Champion and current Lidl-Trek rider, has used Santini apparel since 2018 when his team first selected the Italian brand as its official supplier. The new project allows the athlete to move beyond team colours and collaborate directly with Santini’s designers on a line that reflects his personal style and professional racing expertise.
The collaboration distinguishes between two core dimensions: the MADSS collection, which represents the aerodynamic ‘shell’ engineered by Santini’s R&D department, and the Mads Pedersen line, which is the athlete’s personal interpretation of those performance standards.
Mads Pedersen said “Collaborating with Santini on a collection that carries my name is an incredible opportunity. I wear their garments every day in training and racing, and I know how much dedication goes into every detail.
“But I didn’t just want my logo on a jersey, I wanted the collection to reflect my philosophy as a rider and my personal style. It’s inspiring to work with a team that truly understands what a cyclist needs to feel at their best on the bike.”
Santini Cycling, which has a history of developing personalised collections, noted that the goal lies in creating garments that capture an athlete’s essence while remaining relevant to consumers.
Paola Santini, Marketing Manager at Santini, said “Mads Pedersen is not only an extraordinary athlete, he is a strong and authentic personality who perfectly embodies our brand values of resilience and innovation.
“Working with him means experiencing cycling through his eyes: a blend of pure power and authenticity. We are thrilled to welcome him to this new creative role and look forward to unveiling the result of this collaboration.”
The collection is scheduled for a public presentation at the end of April 2026. It will be available through the company’s website and via international cycling retailers.
