High Five Events has unveiled AVIA as the official running shoe partner and presenting sponsor of the Austin Triathlon.
2009 will mark the 3rd instalment of the Austin Triathlon and next year’s event is expected to hit more than 2,000 athletes. The Austin Triathlon is held on the renowned Town Lake Hike and Bike trail, and the bike and run course feature challenging and spectator friendly loops through historic downtown Austin. The event features both Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons.

The event will once again host a US$5000 prize purse and multiple prime prizes. Next year’s Austin Triathlon will be held on Labor Day, 7 September 2009. AVIA joins Jack & Adam’s Bicycles as presenting sponsors.
