Two-term Washington, DC Mayor Adrian Fenty will be one of the key speakers at the forthcoming Triathlon America Conference, held from 27 February to 1 March 2011 in La Jolla, California.
Fenty is a well-known supporter of active sports and fitness programs. The son of running store owners, Fenty regularly competes in triathlon and running events. He will provide the perspective of a large city leader on the ways that urban triathlon events and training programs can succeed and benefit their communities.
