Ironman Wheel Rentals – a division of World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) – will be at the Ford Ironman World Championships on 9 October 2010. The website www.ironmanwheels.com is scheduled to launch today – 21 September 2010.
At ironmanwheels.com, athletes can try out the latest and greatest aerodynamic wheels at their next Ironman race for as little as US$150 per set.
Athletes will have the opportunity to reserve a wheel-set prior to the Kona event at ironmanwheels.com and the option of having their wheels shipped in one of two ways:
Gold Level of Service:
WTC will ship the wheels to the Ironman Wheel Rental booth in Kailua-Kona. You pick up the wheels at the booth prior to the event and return them to the same location post-race.
Concierge Level of Service:
For those athletes who select WTC’s ‘concierge’ level of service, Ironman technicians will be on-site at the Expo to install the wheels on your bike before the race and make all necessary shifting and brake adjustments to guarantee your Ironman Wheel Rental wheels are properly installed. After the race, bring your Ironman Wheel Rentals wheels back to the booth and WTC will put your own wheels back on your bike.
