Footbalance, an innovator in ‘custom footbed technology’, is introducing its Performance model footbed to the North American retail market at Interbike in September 2011. According to the company, the Performance model footbed is ideal for tight, low volume or performance footwear such as spikes, racing flats and cycling shoes. Designed for all foot types, the Performance footbed is made of D-200 Silver Ion, high abrasion, moisture wicking and anti-microbial material.

Along with Footbalance’s full line of sport footbeds, the Performance model is available in specialty retail shops where it is rapidly moulded in fewer than 10 minutes using the Footbalance Recommendation System (FRS) software to provide a free overview of users’ foot dynamics and stance.
The company will be exhibiting at Interbike at booth #37085. With its North American headquarters in San Diego, California, Footbalance was developed by a Finnish physiotherapist specializing in podiatric medicine. The system enables the rapid production of fully customized insoles at retail stores in less than ten minutes. Available for fittings at shops and special events across the US and Canada, Footbalance insoles support feet in proper alignment to promote healthy foot function, improving overall body alignment.
