ROTOR Bike Components becomes Garmin-Cervélo team partner

ROTOR Bike Components has announced its newly renewed partnership agreement with the UCI ProTour Garmin-Cervélo Team, providing the team with Q-Rings (oval chainrings), 3D+ cranks (standard and TT), bottom brackets and chain-catchers.

“The philosophy of innovative solutions, product development and rider evaluation keeps [us] strong,” said Ignacio Estellés, ROTOR CEO.

“The team now contains more time trial specialists as well as spring classics riders, including the UCI World Champion, plus an extensive list of National Champions. These athletes will help us in achieving our competition goals whilst developing more effective products, born in real-world racing conditions.”

“The day to day contact and work with the team’s engineers and biomechanic specialists is exemplary,” explained Pablo Carrasco, ROTOR R&D Manager and Co-Founder. “We immediately integrated our biomechanical expertise with this merged super-team.”

Garmin-Cervélo’s team focus, on applying technological developments to the team bicycle in order to harness all of the rider’s effort, is a modus operandi that meshes with ROTOR’s brand values.

The brainchild of these philosophies is the 3D and 3D+ crank, ROTOR´s most successful ‘fruit of development philosophy to date.’
