Multisport coaching specialist Tri Dynamic has just launched two new UK coaching events. The first sees the company team up with former elite triathlete and pro cyclist, Tanja Slater from UpandActive to offer a Swim Improvement Clinic for Triathletes in January 2012. Meanwhile, for February, Tri Dynamic is launching its Northern Run Clinics with James Dunne from Kinetic Revolution.
Swim Improvement Clinic for triathletes
Tri Dynamic has teamed up with Tanja Slater at upandactive.com to offer a dedicated Swim Technique Clinic including video analysis on Saturday 21 January 2012. The clinic will be limited to a maximum of just 12 places to ensure that each participant receives lots of personal attention and coaching. The venue for the swim clinic will be the brand new £20 million complex at Lancaster University Sports Centre with its new 8 lane 25m competition pool.
Tanja Slater is a former GB Elite Pro ITU Triathlete and a former Professional GB Cyclist. Stepping down from Elite racing, she is now concentrating on full time coaching and teaching. As a front pack swimmer in triathlon she knows how important it is to swim faster, swim more efficiently and with more confidence. More recently Tanja has won the pink jersey in the women’s section of the London-Paris on two occasions. She is now a full time coach and runs UpandActive.
Northern Run Clinics
Following on from the success of its sold out Triathlete Testing Days, Tri Dynamic has teamed up with one of the top running improvement specialists in the UK to offer its Northern Run Clinics featuring high speed video analysis. James Dunne from Kinetic Revolution will be providing a unique opportunity for triathletes and runners to experience the benefit of slow-motion video analysis of their running form to help knock off minutes from their PBs.
The Northern Running Clinics will take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February 2012 at Salt Ayre Sports Centre in Lancashire. Practical sessions and video work will take place on the 8 lane all weather athletics track, which is home to Morecambe & Lancaster Athletics Club and current 2011 NW Triathlon Club Champions City of Lancaster Triathlon Club.
There will also be indoor classroom sessions with each runner’s video being analysed before having the opportunity to get back out on to the track and apply what has been learned under the tuition of James Dunne. Attendees will leave knowing what improvements to make to develop efficiency and speed and also how to successfully reinforce their new skills in training and racing.
James Dunne said:”Just as with swimming, until you see yourself running on high quality video footage you cannot properly appreciate the difference between how you feel you are moving and how you are really moving. The camera doesn’t lie!”
