TriBike Transport rides into Ironman 70.3 Panama

TriBike Transport, ‘triathlon’s original fully-assembled bicycle transportation service’, has announced a partnership with the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Panama. The race, scheduled for 12 February 2012 in Panama City, Panama, will serve as the Ironman 70.3 Latin American Pro Championship and a qualifier for the 2012 Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Henderson, Nevada. It will also mark TriBike Transport’s second venture outside of the US and Canada.

“Often, the hassle of traveling with a bicycle is daunting enough to dissuade athletes from competing in overseas events,” said TriBike Transport’s founder Marc Lauzon. “Our aim is to provide a secure, stress-free and economic transportation option to athletes traveling at home and abroad.

“As the original provider in this niche category, we’ve successfully serviced US and Canadian events for the past seven years. We’re thrilled to expand our event calendar to include more international destination races, such as Ironman 70.3 Panama, Ironman Cozumel and others on the horizon.”

Founded in 2005, TriBike Transport has serviced safe and secure round-trip transportation of more than 45,000 fully-assembled bicycles to and from over 150 triathlon and cycling events. As the exclusive bike transport partner of the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), TriBike Transport currently supports a large number of WTC’s Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events and intends to expand its transportation offerings as the WTC race calendar continues to grow worldwide.
