In an official statement from Star Events and SCC Events, it has been confirmed that TriStar Berlin, planned to be held on 1 July 2012 will not take place next year. Star Events and SCC Events, partners for the organisation of the TriStar Berlin event, have agreed in consensus to end their collaboration and continue with separate triathlon event initiatives in the future.
According to the statement, ‘Different conceptions and ideas on the partnership and the implementation of the event cannot be brought into a common line any longer so that we conjointly decided to choose this solution at an early stage.
‘We would like to ask for the understanding, the already registered athletes in particular. These have already been contacted directly and will be refunded their entry fee.’
