De Soto Sport has begun shipping two unique garments – the De Soto Forza Riviera Tribib and Tri Jersey – that when worn together, claim to ‘offer a slimming effect by holding in the male midsection.’
“Lets face it, very few triathletes have ripped six-pack abs and don’t bear some sort of love handles. That doesn’t stop most men from wanting to appear fit and look good when they race, especially for the coveted finish-line photo,” said company founder, Emilio De Soto.

The De Soto Forza Riviera Tribib is a bibbed trishort that utilizes a unique bib design to cover a man’s entire midsection with Forza Compressor compression fabric. The Tribib is finished with a one piece Floatpad, which offers buoyancy to the garment.
The De Soto Forza Riviera Tri Jersey uses the same Forza Compressor compression fabric combined with Skin Cooler fabric and a special silicone gripper that keeps the top from riding up and exposing the back or midsection.
Taking a premium price point, the Forza Riviera Tri Jersey with Full Front Zipper retails at US$104.00, with the Forza Riviera Tribib priced at US$160.00.
