Multisport apparel specialist De Soto Sport has again won the bid to design and manufacture the official Ironman apparel for the 2012 Ford Ironman Cozumel event, to be held on 25 November 2012. This is the fourth consecutive year that De Soto has been selected to produce the official apparel for the event in Cozumel, Mexico.
“I believe that our success rate of sales in the previous three Ford Ironman races on the island of Cozumel, combined with the fresh new designs we presented this year to the event organizers in Mexico, it just made sense to them,” said company founder, Emilio De Soto.
“With the colour and logo restrictions given to us, we had fun presenting a number of design options, and from there they chose their favourite. We believe the end result is a refreshing departure from what has ever been seen at any Ironman race.”
The race organizer will be offering De Soto Sport designed Skin Cooler Bike Jerseys, Carrera Tri Jerseys, Carrera Tri Shorts, Warm-up Jackets, Cycling Vests, and two of De Soto’s most popular offerings, Arm Coolers and Skin Cooler Helmet Beanies.
De Soto has also designed a number of finisher items that will only be sold after the race to those who cross the finish line.
