Spanish skin care company Galius will be supporting the Compex Titan Desert Team by supplying team members with its Galius Sun Sunscreen, Facial Sun Protection Creams and Galius Sport massage gels and oils.
The team will consist of Martin Giacchetta, a leading personal trainer in Spain, and Jaime Menendez de Luarca – a 14 time Ironman finisher. The team is also seeking a third member to take on the Titan Desert mountain bike (MTB) race – albeit with Galius Sun protection!
The Titan Desert is an extreme endurance mountain bike (MTB) race held under the scorching sun of the Moroccan Desert. It is open to both amateur and professional cyclists as they demonstrate their orientation ability and strength under the some of the world’s toughest conditions.
The Titan Desert requires competitors to not only be physically fit, but also have huge motivational strength to achieve what few in the world have achieved: to cross the finish line having dominated the desert.
The Titan Desert Race consists of 6 days of competition: 600K route, 90% sandy tracks, with temperatures ranging between 15ºC and 45ºC (59ºF to 113ºF).
Continuing to align itself with endurance sport participation, Galius Sun is the Official Supplier to the Movistar pro cycling team. Its creams have high SPF protection, are water and sweat resistant, non-greasy, long-lasting and come with an easy to use pump action bottle applicator.
