Billed as being ‘lighter, faster, cooler’, the Zoot Ultra Race 4.0 with the Boa closure system ‘is a racing flat designed for the athlete looking for a lightweight shoe with a custom fit.’ To develop the new run and tri shoe, Hawaii-based apparel and accessories company Zoot Sports partnered with well-known fit specialist, BOA.
The result of the partnership was the launch of ‘a closure system that creates a 360-degree fit and is fast in T2.’ According to Zoot, this unique fit combined with a TekSheen upper that creates the most dynamic fit in the world of running.

The Zoot Ultra Race 4.0 reaffirms Zoot’s continued commitment to the world of triathlon. The brand recently agreed a deal to remain as an official sponsor of the International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Triathlon Series event in Hamburg until 2014.
In March, the performance apparel, ‘wetzoots’, footwear and accessories specialist also appointed Erik Vervloet as Zoot Sports’ Vice President and General Manager.
