The UK’s second largest triathlon, the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon will take place on 13-14 June 2015 in the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. The Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon offers a unique triathlon experience to all athletes from first timers to elite competitors with distances of sprint and super sprint, as well as the option to compete as individuals or as part of a team relay.

This iconic event is generally considered to be an ‘official season opener’ on the UK triathlon diary and with 7,000 participants taking part annually it is certainly one not to be missed.

As part of the British Triathlon Super Series, the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon attracts some of the world’s best elite triathletes and in previous years the event has seen the likes of Team GB’s Vicky Holland, seven time Multi Sport World Champion Richard Stannard and the famous Brownlee brothers, amongst others compete.

James Robinson, Managing Director of IMG Challenger World, the event organiser, said “the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon is a unique occasion, giving participants the opportunity to swim, bike and run their way around the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace.

“Last year the event celebrated its 10th anniversary and throughout the years we have welcomed a number of the sport’s top talents to what has become a real flagship event to kick start the triathlon season. We are expecting another great year and we are looking forward to 10 more successful years, so participants are encouraged to enter as soon as possible.”

He said “2014 was a fantastic year for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research at the Blenheim Palace Triathlon.
