Danish nationwide sports chain Sportmaster is now working with Challenge Denmark as a sponsor.
“We are seeing a huge interest in triathlons among our customers, and therefore it was only natural to partner with one of the biggest in the sport, namely Challenge Denmark, ” said Tommy Pedersen at Sportmaster. “We find that customers are intensively searching for clothing and equipment for triathlons, and we will be the ones to go to, both when you want just the right equipment, but also when you have questions about exercise, diet and the competition itself.”
Pedersen continued, “This agreement means that in selected Sportmaster stores in Aalborg, Aarhus, Herning Kolding, Odense, Hillingdon, Fields, Rødovre and Lyngby there will be an extra large selection of tri equipment and we will provide the best possible services for the customers.
“Among other things, we have professional tri clothing from [Challenge Denmark brand sponsor] 2XU and energy products from 32Gi in the stores, and we have trained our staff to be tri-experts,” Pedersen said.
According to the retailer, the collaboration will see more special offers for customers rolled out going forwards.
“We’re going to make some special events and offer packages as part of a trip around the country where people can try their hand at triathlon, meet top triathletes as well as get special offers and guidance from our skilled experts,” Pedersen added.
The organisers at Challenge Denmark are equally excited about the cooperation and look forward to offering a range of deals to the event’s participants via the new retail partnership.
“We look forward to working with Sportmaster and are confident that the many tri-enthusiasts around the country will benefit from their professional expertise and guidance. This applies to when it comes to choosing the right equipment as well as advice for race day,” said Claus Vesterby, Race Director of Challenge Denmark.
