British bike brand Dassi has a new partnership with the PruHealth World Triathlon London event, which takes place over the weekend of 31 May at the Olympic triathlon course in Hyde Park.
Dassi will become the Official Bike Partner of the London event, which is the fourth outing in this year’s ITU World Triathlon Series (ITU WTS), after Auckland, Cape Town and Yokohama.
The British bike brand, offering fully customised carbon framed bikes, will provide PruHealth World Triathlon London event participants and fans with bespoke bike solutions tailored to the needs of triathletes.
Dassi offers customers a personal service in buying a high-performance bike that is suited to their specific needs. As part of the purchase, each customer receives a comprehensive professional bike fit as well as building the bike to the component specification and frame colour scheme desired. The frame is then made to order before being assembled and sprayed in the UK.
Each bike is designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, and is the product of founder and ex-Rolls Royce Aerospace Engineer, Stuart Abbott.

The partnership reinforces Dassi’s commitment to the sport of triathlon in the UK, following its support of six UK-based international female athletes with bikes, fitting and mechanical support. The athlete sponsorship also includes on-event support anywhere around the world where three or more athletes are competing.
To celebrate Dassi’s partnership with the London event the company will be hosting a number of competitions including the chance to win a bespoke Dassi bike with a retail value worth £3,500 in the run up to the event itself. Members of the Dassi Elite Women’s Triathlon Team will be competing at The PruHealth World Triathlon London event as well as other Dassi supported athletes including Olympic hopeful, Mark Buckingham.
This year marks the fifth time the ITU World Triathlon Series has staged an event in London, with races held at the iconic Olympic venue in Hyde Park on 31 May and 1 June 2014. The PruHealth World Triathlon London will be available live on TV to an international audience, as well as streamed online.
