Continuing an on-going partnership between Challenge Family and Lufthansa Group Airlines, Lufthansa has been confirmed as the airline partner of DATEV Challenge Roth 2015.
To help athletes get to next year’s race on 12 July 2015, there are discounts on flights via Lufthansa, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, German Wings and Swiss Air to Nuremberg, Munich and Frankfurt. This applies for the period from 5 July to 19 July 2015.
The Lufthansa Group has ensured a 5% to 10% percent discount on the published base fare. Previously the special rates were only available via Lufthansa. Going forwards, all five member airlines of the Lufthansa Group will offer discounts. Bookings can be online at lufthansa.com/event-booking.
For Challenge Roth athletes, the access code DEZEQSO should be entered in the ‘access to your Lufthansa offer’ box. From there, athletes will be taken directly to the online booking platform. Automatically the reduced air fare will be displayed.
All starting places for next year’s DATEV Challenge Roth in Germany, which takes place on 12 July 2015, sold out in record time.
On Monday 28 July 2014, the online registration process launched at 10:00 local time. The organizing team confirmed that the starting places had been grabbed in 34 seconds. Following completion of the booking process, in 54 seconds the event was fully booked for the available slots allocated to foreign athletes. After a further 1:10 minutes, all starting places for German athletes were snapped up.
