Spanish biking firm Orbea is mourning the loss of Renny Stirling who had been General Manager at Orbea and headed up the bike brand’s UK business.

It is with great sadness that the Orbea family announces the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Renny Stirling on Monday morning 31st March.
Renny joined Orbea in 2001 and has been the face of the Basque cycle brand in the UK ever since. His career in the cycle industry spanned over thirty years, spending time working with such well-known brands as Dawes, Saracen, Schwinn and GT over the years.
He found his home with Orbea however, and has contributed greatly to the brand’s progress and development over the intervening thirteen years.
An active cyclist, Renny was a very competent time triallist, and more recently spent his leisure time cycling around the roads and hills of Europe.
Renny is survived by his wife Christine, to whom all at Orbea extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies.
