The weekend broadcasting of endurance sport action via Dream Team Television and mainstream UK broadcaster Channel 4 continues – as the Snowman Triathlon will be shown on Channel 4 this Saturday 29 November at 06.15 GMT and Channel 4 +1 at 07.15
Taking place in North Wales, this winter triathlon is not for the faint-hearted; after a bracing swim in the lake at Plas y Brenin, and a 69K bike ride that takes in several mountain passes, the race ends with a mountain run as the competitors take on the steep slopes of Moel Siabod.
The event starts and finishes in North Wales, at a place which the organisers claim is ‘the most beautiful view in the world’. It is the last triathlon in the Always Aim High series, which also includes the Slateman and Sandman events.
