Following recent TV coverage of the LLR Blenheim Palace Triathlon and Vibram Tarawera Ultra Marathon airing on UK television, sports production firm Dream Team is continuing its summer of endurance sport programming on mainstream TV.
Next up for a mainstream TV airing on Channel 4 is the 2014 Triathlonguard Windsor Triathlon, which will be broadcast this Sunday 29 June at 07.05 GMT or Ch4 +1 at 08.05.
Sponsored by specialist triathlon insurance brand Triathlonguard, the historic and prestigious Triathlonguard Windsor Triathlon, which uniquely takes place on closed roads in the centre of Windsor was held on Sunday 15 June 2014 and is a popular landmark on many UK triathletes’ calendars.
The TV show this Sunday is presented by Rob Walker and Annie Emmerson. ‘Britain’s oldest major triathlon’, the Windsor Triathlon, takes place in the shadow of the world-famous landmarks of Windsor Castle and Eton College. Beginning with a swim in the River Thames, before taking to the roads of Berkshire, elite world champions, celebrities and thousands of enthusiasts rub shoulders on this historic course.
