Zone3 reports surge in demand this season

Following a recent global expansion, British-based triathlon brand Zone3 has reported another period of increased sales, just a few months into the new 2014 season.

Having established itself as a brand of choice amongst many retailers in the UK in recent years, the Zone3 range is now available in over 20 countries worldwide; and following its global launch, Zone3 has reported a huge surge in demand.

Zone3 believes this is ‘due to the continued growth in the triathlon market coupled with the increasing awareness of the brand.’ Zone3 has noted higher participation numbers this year – with more triathletes than ever taking part in open water swimming sessions, early season races and larger corporate teams getting more involved, signing up to races such as The London Triathlon.

Brand Manager, Bobby Buck said “Word of mouth has always been the most powerful marketing tool for us as a brand and over the last seven years we’ve gained an army of extremely valuable customers who thankfully love the products we make. Sales wise; the feedback we get from our retailers is that when a customer tries on a Zone3 suit in-store or at a demo session then nine times out of ten this results in a sale, which is an extraordinarily high percentage.”

Zone3 cites the reason behind this success as coming from the years of hard work the team put into the product during the first few years of trading. As an organic growth focused company, Zone3 has ensured that ‘the product has always come first’ and believes this is the reason why sales are increasing so rapidly.

This in turn is coupled with another fine set of industry reviews including the top-end Vanquish wetsuit, which was redesigned for 2014 and won the ‘Best on Test’ award out of 14 other brands reviewed by 220 Triathlon magazine last month. Also, the Zone3 Advance wetsuit won the ‘Best Value’ award in Triathlon Plus mag.

Commenting on recent successes, Export Manager, Anthony Brown said “We invest a lot of our time into perfecting the range to give athletes the best performing product available.
