Universal Sports Network, the year-round destination for Olympic, endurance and action sports programming, is presenting live and exclusive national US coverage of the 2015 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday 11 October from 08:30 ET.
More than 40,000 runners from more than 100 countries and all 50 US states will run the streets of Chicago through 29 neighbourhoods on an architectural and cultural tour of Chicago. The urban course starts and finishes in the city’s iconic Grant Park.
The Chicago Marathon is the fifth race of the 2015 World Marathon Majors (WMM) series. Currently, Universal Sports Network is the US television home to five of the six World Marathon Majors (WMM) races including the Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin and Chicago races, and also covers global endurance events including the Paris, Amsterdam and Sydney marathons and the ITU World Triathlon Series.
