Red Fox Wireless, an emerging company in the sports and outdoor market that makes Bluetooth wireless headphones and accessories, has partnered with Injinji Performance Products (IPP) as the exclusive distributor of Red Fox products in Australia.
Red Fox’s flagship product, the EDGE Bluetooth Headphones set, was launched in December 2013. Soon after, the EDGE was named Best Cordless Headphones in the June edition of Runner’s World, all while gaining a significant retail presence in the US.
The headphone design is postioned as being comfortable and lightweight, and remains secure during athletic activities such as running, cycling, hiking and weight training. Built-in controls allow the user to wirelessly change song tracks, control volume, make and take phone calls, and activate Siri or Google Voice, making this product easy to use whilst on the go.
Currently, the second generation of The Edge features IPX 4 water and sweat resistance nano technology, allowing users to be active with their headphones without worrying about moisture damage.
“Partnering with Injinji Performance Products brings Red Fox into an important market that already has shown a passion for our products,” said Red Fox CEO and Co-Founder Josh Cates. “This new partnership will enable Red Fox to expand internationally and target a country full of outdoor and fitness enthusiasts. We look forward to working with the entire team at IPP to roll out the full line-up of Red Fox products in Australia.”
With over 100 retail locations in the USA and growing steadily, one of Red Fox’s priorities for 2015 is to expand internationally. Partnering with Injinji is a natural fit for Red Fox, especially as Injinji shares Red Fox’s passion and understanding for quality health and fitness products.
Paul Reuss, National Sales Manager for Injinji Performance Products, is equally enthusiastic to form this partnership with Red Fox as it brings a new cutting edge brand Down Under. Reuss said, “The quality of the Red Fox products compliments our existing brand portfolio, which includes some of the most innovative and market leading brands out of the US.”
The impetus for Red Fox Wireless came in the autumn/fall of 2010 while CEO & Founder Josh Cates was mountain biking in Red Rocks Canyon and his tangled earphone wires caused a crash. The Red Fox Story has progressed since. Red Fox is a leader in active wireless audio headphones, products and accessories.
Red Fox promotes healthy lifestyles by delivering high quality audio products so that consumers can enjoy music, audio books, phone calls, and more, while on the go. Long gone are the days of wires getting in the way.
Injinji Performance Products began introducing some of the most innovative US brands to the Australian and New Zealand markets in 2008 when it was appointed the first international distributor for Injinji Performance Toesocks. Since that time Injinji has grown its brand portfolio to include ten other high profile American brands including, but not limited to Altra Footwear, Body Glide, Ultimate Direction, Yankz, Spibelt, Armpocket and Zensah.
