Entries for the 2015 Windsor Triathlon will close on 2 March at 09:00; and with places being snapped up quickly, athletes are advised to enter promptly to secure a place at the anniversary edition.
The 25th edition of Windsor Triathlon, takes place on 14 June and is set to be the biggest and best yet. With a number of previous winners returning for the quarter century celebrations and various special treats in store, organisers Human Race note that this is one event not to be missed.
One thing set to make this year’s event stand out from previous editions is that Human Race is looking at alternative routes for the course, which should result in a faster time for participants. Various course options are currently being examined and Human Race will be announcing the new and improved version soon.
Not only will Windsor Triathlon 2015 be a standout event, there is also the chance to get some last minute tips from previous winners the evening before at a celebratory dinner. Those in attendance include Spencer Smith who won Windsor a whopping six times, Emma Pallant and Tom Bishop, Stuart Hayes, and more.
The Windsor Triathlon 25th Anniversary Dinner will be held at the Harte and Garter Hotel in Windsor and will consist of a three course dinner along with options of wine and soft drinks. On each table will be one previous elite winner of Windsor Triathlon and these special guests will also be taking part in a question and answer session during the evening.
