Porte de Versailles gets the Running Exhibition on the good foot

Salon du Running

The Running Exhibition is set to open its doors today at 15:00 CET at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles, in south west Paris. With 90,000 visitors expected, the Running Exhibition (Le Salon du Running, previously the Running Expo) is positioned as the perfect occasion to bring all running enthusiasts together in France. It runs ahead of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, with the main race taking place on Sunday 12 April.

A plethora of shows and activities will liven up the atmosphere at the Running Exhibition and its 25,000 m² venue. Leading brands will showcase their wares, revealing the 2015 trends in a sport with over 8 million practitioners in France, while an 80-metre running track will provide a test bed for visitors to try out the latest shoes to hit the market —a first in the country.

The Running Exhibition will also feature a wellbeing centre with massages, check-ups and advice from chiropodists and osteopaths, as well as training and general physical preparation sessions. A yoga course will be given as well.

Admission to the Running Exhibition is free.
