Quintana Roo (QR) has unveiled the PRfive, a version of its world acclaimed PRsix, offering ‘superbike performance without the super price’.
This bike’s defining features are aerodynamics, lightweight, and simplicity. Like the PRsix, the PRfive has the same geometry and design characteristics but with a traditional stem and fork. Design philosophy remains consistent with the PR SERIES: ‘delivering high performance technology that results in personal records while maintaining transitional performance to the run.’
According to the QR team, ‘the result is super performance, cutting edge aerodynamics and an affordable bike that outperforms many of the superbikes on the market today.’
“We are so excited to bring an affordable, technologically advanced bike that satisfies the needs of many: lightweight, aerodynamics, simple to maintain and smart looking,” said Peter Hurley, CEO of American Bicycle Group, parent company of Quintana Roo.
“On the heels of our successful debut of the PRsix, we recognized the need to offer the same performance capabilities to the age group athlete.”
The PRfive is offered in two colour schemes, Black/Red or Black/Green – offered as standard Ultegra Build at US$3,700, Ultegra Race US$4,850 and Ultegra Di2 Race at US$7,300.
