Known as one of the world’s greatest long-distance swimmers in the 1970s, Nyad has continued to surprise the world with her remarkable swims over the past 30 years, including the 111-mile journey from the beaches of Havana to Key West, Florida, which she completed at the age of 64 in 53 hours.
