Wiggle, ‘the world’s biggest online cycle and tri-sports retailer’, has just launched an update to its popular app. The new update showcases all Wiggle’s events catalogue as well as providing app users with exclusive access to ‘sneak peeks’ of the Black Friday daily deals. The new app development is aimed at reinforcing Wiggle’s mission ‘to inspire everybody, every day and everywhere to experience the joy of sport’.

The new Wiggle 2017 events catalogue has just landed, and to help customers search and browse events quickly and simply on the go, an easy to access events interface has been released on the app. The new feature enables customers to browse Wiggle’s busy events schedule by location, date and sport discipline using Apple and Android designed search functionality.

Results can be viewed via a list facility or on an interactive map; then customers can save the date to their calendar, refine their search or purchase their event entry. If no events meet the set search criteria, the app will make suggestions for alternative events.

As for stealing a march on the bargain frenzy that is Black Friday, all users of the Wiggle App will get an exclusive preview of all the daily deals on offer at Wiggle, 24 hours before anyone else.

The Wiggle App launched a year ago and has already registered over 250,000 downloads. It now accounts for 17% of Wiggle mobile sessions in the UK and is available in 12 territories including China, Japan and Australia.

Kate Walder, Customer Marketing Manager at Wiggle, said, “The app is now an important part of the Wiggle landscape, and not just as a shop on the go. It also provides a topical news facility, together with innovative and useful content that provide strong user engagement. We are also constantly looking to improve the App and the new update provides more opportunities for getting our customers to the good stuff quicker as well as rewarding app users.”

The Wiggle App is free to download and available for iOS and Android.

Founded in 1999 in Portsmouth, UK, Wiggle is the world’s leading online cycling and tri-sports retailer, serving customers in over 100 countries. Wiggle’s mission is to inspire everybody, everywhere, every day to experience the joy of sport, ‘irrespective of experience or budget’.
