IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia offers priority entry for 5150 Warsaw registrants

Polish triathlon events licensed by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) have been running a cross-promotion action that comes to an end on 20 November. By registering for 5150 Warsaw, athletes will get priority entry for IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, and in turn pay the lowest entry fee.

Regular registration for IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia starts on 1 December 2016. Athletes who register for 5150 Warsaw by the end of the week (November 20th) gain access to the pre-registration process scheduled for 28-30 November. The participation limit of IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia 2017 is 2,500 athletes. The entry fees will be as follows:

  • First 1,500 slots – €165
  • Next 500 slots – €195
  • Remaining 500 slots – €225

5150 Warsaw
Registration for 5150 Warsaw 2017 is open. Around 500 athletes have already signed up. The race, which according to the organising team had a ‘spectacular debut this year’, will be held on 11 June 2017. The organisers add that 5150 Warsaw offers a unique opportunity to cycle and run in the heart of a big metropolis. Part of the bike course, T2 zone and run course are all located in the historic part of the city, just a stone’s throw from the Old Town and the Castle Square, with the finish line and IRONMAN village being situated at the foot of Warsaw’s Grand Theater and National Opera. The entry fee is €100.

IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia
IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is positioned as a benchmark triathlon event in Central & Eastern Europe, with 3,800 athletes taking part in the main race and its side events (sprint, relays & IRONKIDS) in 2016. The race combines swimming in the Gdansk Bay and a picturesque bike course leading through the hilly Kashubia region, running on the sea boulevards and main streets of Gdynia. The race is completed at the finish area located at the main city beach, with ‘thousands of enthusiastic fans filling up the tribunes’. In 2017, the race will offer 50 qualifying slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
