Servicing tubeless is now said to be easier than ever thanks to milKit. The new sealant maintenance kit that was on show at Eurobike in Germany, is ‘headed to Interbike to show North America how to make tubeless easy.’
The system allows for easy and clean delivery of sealant into the tyre, plus it allows for sealant level servicing without unseating the tyre from the bead. It’s all performed through the patented valve system, which milKit adds is ‘the single best upgrade you can add to tubeless wheels’.
Tubeless is seeing a resurgence in the bike industry as ETRTO standards have been adopted and ‘mixed road’ riding has become popular. This system is positioned as being perfect for the bike shop mechanic or the home mechanic.

milKit is the first product of Zurich based Sport Components AG, which was founded in 2015. Product development engineer Pius Kobler and entrepreneur Sven Rizzotti aim to place their company as a major name in the tubeless market.
