IRONMAN Wales is airing on mainstream UK television station Channel 4 on Saturday 23 September at 06:00 GMT and Ch4+1 at 07:00, with catch up also available online thereafter via All 4.

IRONMAN Wales takes place amidst the castles and stunning landscapes of Pembrokeshire on the South Wales coast. After a 2.4 mile sea swim in the historic setting of Tenby, a challenging 112 mile bike ride takes in some big climbs before athletes face the ‘undulating’ 26.2 mile run to the finish.

Now in its seventh year, IRONMAN Wales is renowned as one of the most challenging races on the IRONMAN circuit, and is also the first in a long line of qualifying events for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championships in Kona. The race attracts thousands of triathletes, including some of the world’s leading pros.

Having established a close partnership with Channel 4 television, Dream Team Television is one of the UK’s leading production companies specialising in multisport, adventure, athletics and motorsport programming.
