Prostate Cancer Canada confirmed as 2018 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka official charity

Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka has announced Prostate Cancer Canada as the event’s official charity partner for 2018. Confirmed for 8 July 2018, next year’s event is opening for registration on 18 October 2017.

Early bird pricing* for Subaru IM 70.3 Muskoka is as follows for the event’s general triathlon and duathlon entry:

18 Oct 2017 – 30 Oct 2017: C$205
31 Oct 2017 – 30 November 2017: C$220
1 Dec 2017 – 25 May 2018: C$245
26 May 2018 – Close: US$270

Pricing excludes HST (harmonized sales tax), Triathlon Ontario fees, and Active processing fees.

The organising team adds that it will announce a number of fundraising initiatives over the coming weeks.

The 2017 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka had a new host site this year, with the event hosted at the Canada Summit Centre in historic downtown Huntsville, Muskoka. The Canada Summit Centre was formerly the host location for the Subaru 5150 Muskoka triathlon and Subaru Muskoka Chase Triathlon.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among men. 1 in 8 Canadian men will be diagnosed in their lifetime, resulting in approximately 24,000 new diagnoses each year.

Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) is the leading national foundation dedicated to the elimination of the disease. PCC invests in the research, advocacy, education, support and awareness programs and aims to bring hope to Canadian households faced with the disease.
