The TOUGHMAN series has announced an additional TOUGHMAN Chile triathlon for 2017. This new race will take place in Quillon, Chile, on 29 October. The addition of TOUGHMAN Chile Quillon means that there are now seven international TOUGHMAN half iron races in six countries: Argentina, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Chile for 2017.

The organising team at TOUGHMAN note that this will give athletes from outside the US an opportunity to race a TOUGHMAN half going forwards. The original TOUGHMAN Chile in Antofagasta will take place on 23 July (this year’s TOUGHMAN Pan American Championship), and will have additional qualifier spots to the TOUGHMAN NY Championship on 17 September 2017.

For 2017 every TOUGHMAN location is being live-streamed so that spectators from all around the world can be part of the action. Media partners for 2017 include: LAVA magazine, Babbittville Radio, Fitter Radio, and Triathlon World.
