The fourth Rouleur Classic premium cycling consumer expo is just over six months away, taking place on 1-3 November 2018 in central London. The organising team notes that ‘plans are already moving along at quite a pace’. The theme for the 2018 event is the World Championships – as it ‘has been 37 years since we’ve seen the World Championships on British shores and we’re eagerly waiting to see what the Yorkshire 2019 team have in store for us.’
Already confirmed to appear on the opening night of the Classic on Thursday 1st November is three-time World Champion Eddy Merckx. The great man opened the first ever Rouleur Classic and the organisers add that ‘it’s an incredible honour to welcome him back to the show this year’.
Among the 40 plus brands at this year’s Classic, UCI partner Santini will present the new World Championship collection for 2019 as well as historic jerseys from its archive. Swiss Tourism joins as a partner for the first time and the focal point of its space will be a photographic exhibition of beautiful Swiss climbs. Long term Rouleur Classic partner, Saddleback will be taking over several of the rooms at the show to create a series of special installations for its portfolio of brands distributed in the UK, which includes Castelli, Sidi, 3T, Stages, Alchemy, CHPT 3 and Enve.
Sigma Sports has also got on board as retail partner for the Rouleur Classic and the organisers will be collaborating with the retailer on a series of pop-up events in London and at its brilliant store in Hampton Wick, West London, during the build-up to the show.
