Covid-19 adjusted ÖTILLÖ Sprint Final 15K

After the disappointing news that the Swedish authorities would not allow the 2020 ÖTILLÖ World Championship to go-ahead, the team at ÖTILLÖ has confirmed a new and alternative ÖTILLÖ Sprint Final 15K.

Taking place on 29-30 August, the race course showcases the trails on the island of Utö in the southern part of the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden. Although the course is only 12.5 km long it has a total of 12 swims and 13 runs. The organisers add that ‘It will be a total immersion in nature.’

As Swedish regulations only allow 50 persons on the course at the same time, there are three start waves on Saturday and three starts on Sunday, which will accommodate a total of 300 racers. These span world champions to newcomers to the sport of swimrun.
